Michael has over two decades of experience in the industry, as both an educator and a stylist. He joined Belleza Salon and Spa in 2001, and shortly after, joined Graham Webb International as a regional educator and has worked as an artist for KMS California. Michael has extensive training with Toni and Guy, Vidal Sassoon, and Framesi. He works with SR Education led by former Vidal Sassoon Senior Creative Director Sally Rogerson. Micahel is certified in the Global Keratin Juvexin hair taming system.

AMBER WILLIS
Educator
After getting most of her hours for Cosmetology at Fulton High School and then graduating from Tennessee Technology Center, Amber officially joined the Belleza family in 1999. Amber has cultivated her craft by attending academies across the United States. They include: Graham Webb Academy in Washington,DC, Vidal Sassoon in Miami, Fl, Toni & Guy in Long Beach, CA, Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, CA, and multiple classes at TIGI in New York. She has also attended countless hair shows over the years.
Amber finds most of her inspiration in art and nature. She loves Van Gogh, Monet, Dali, Da Vinci and Munch. She also loves finding symmetry and balance in nature and tries to incorporate that into her work.
Amber enjoys finding what works for the individual personality and bringing that to life.
BETSY JONES

Betsy was born and raised here in Knoxville, and she loves being a part of her hometown community in Corryton. Betsy began her career with the Belleza family in 2007. Her favorite parts of the job are the smiles and joy she puts on her client’s faces. She believes, “Hair is very powerful in making you feel like a million bucks or 2 pennies. Everyone deserves to feel like a million bucks and they can conquer the world.” Her favorite styles include a traditional sleek bob, textured long locks, and perms! Betsy’s favorite products are Goldwell Flat Marvel, KMS hot flex creme and styling blowdry spray, and Oribe Straight Away. Betsy has furthered her education by attending the Toni and Guy Academy in New York, Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco, and Sally Rogerson out of Arizona. Locally she attends each class Belleza provides, as well as an updo class by Knoxville Bridal’s Christi P. Betsy is certified in the Global Keratin Juvexin Hair Taming System, as well as Deva Curl haircut and styling, and Twisted Fringe Extensions. Betsy received her Goldwell Master Colorist certification in 2019. She is also part of our Belleza Bridal and Special Events Team. When Betsy is not behind the chair you can find her at home either reading in the sun with her 2 dogs or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen.
BROOKE DAVIS
Educator
Brooke joined Belleza in 2005. She is an Educator for the company and was nominated for East Tennessee Hairdresser of the Year for the past five years. Specializing in formal hair, Brooke has studied under one the the world’s best hairdresser, Sharon Blain. Sharon has won Hair Expo Australia’s Educator of the Year three years in a row, and runner-up in the United States. Brooke has taken intensive training classes from Paris, France to New York and Los Angeles, training at Vidal Sassoon, TIGI, and Goldwell academies. JANA NEELY

Jana joined the Belleza Family in 2005. She has cultivated her craft by attending academies in Washington D.C., New York, Nashville and Venezuela. Jana has extensive training in Framesi, Toni and Guy,L’Oreal Professional, Goldwell Hair Color Technology and KMS. Her talent has been showcased in the 2012 and 2019 Knoxville Fashion Week runway events. She is certified in the Global Keratin Juvexin hair taming system.
TONJA BEATTY
Educator
Tonja joined Belleza in 1993. In addition to training with Ouidad she has trained with Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Framesi, Aveda, and L’Oreal Professional. Tonja feels that the relationship you maintain with your clients is of upmost importance in achieving success as a hairdresser. It’s not all about the cut itself; it is the style, and understanding you provide the client. Her consultations are the most important step in developing a style that will work best for each individual. She loves working with curly hair to bring clients to a new and improved look.

Emily began her career with the Belleza family in 2006, after graduating from Tennessee School of Beauty. She has received further education and training with C&C Llongueras Academy in Barcelona, Alexandre de Paris Academy, the Toni and Guy Academy in New York and Dallas. Recently, she has traveled to the Goldwell academies in Berlin, Rome and Amsterdam as well as the KMS Academy in Vancouver to continue her education. Emily is certified in DevaCurl, a Ouidad specialist and acquired certification in the Global Keratin Juvexin hair taming system. Emily looks forward to growing with the industry in education and experience. She craves any opportunity that allows her to express her passion for style; fashion shows, hair shows, photo shoots and clients open these opportunities for that expression. Her work has been showcased in the 2009 and 2010 Koi Fusion Fashion Show and in the major runway events of the 2012 Knoxville Fashion Week.

Kira began her career in the beauty industry in 2004 and joined Belleza in 2007. She has attended many educational forums to further her growth as a stylist. She attended the TIGI Academy in New York and Alexandre de Paris academies, is a Ouidad specialist and Global Keratin Juvexin certified. She has enjoyed participating in numerous photo shoots and fashion shows; walking away as the winner of the Koi Fusion Fashion Show in 2009. She is very passionate about designing hair to suit each client individually. She has a flair for the avant-garde, yet a simple ease for the classics. She also has a special interest in the art of make-up application.

Nichole began her career with the Belleza family in 2014 after attending Tennessee School of Beauty. She has studied in New York, Amsterdam with Rodica Hristu, and Rome. The outdoor beauty inspires her. She loves doing short hairstyles and using voluminous products. She really enjoys the relationship she builds with her clients.

Senior Stylist
Rachel has been doing hair for over 30 years and has been with Belleza since 1993. She has trained internationally in Barcelona and Paris, as well as domestically in Los Angeles and New York furthering her education with Vidal Sassoon, Framesi, Toni and Guy, Graham Webb, L’Oreal Professional and Goldwell. She is certified with Global Keratin Juvexin Hair Taming System. Rachel keeps updated with the latest in fashion and hair design.

Mikayla joined the Belleza family in 2017 after graduating from Paul Mitchell the School of Knoxville. She has continued her education with Goldwell in New York City. Her inspiration comes from Pinterest and Hollywood. Everything around her inspires her to be more creative. Belleza is her home and always will be.

Brittany joined the Belleza family in 2018, while also attending Tennessee School of Beauty as a full time cosmetology student. Her inspiration comes mainly from Pinterest, and anything that is new and exciting in the hair and fashion world. Being creative is a favorite for her, and something that makes her work more fun. Blondes are definitely her favorite to work on!

Shane has loved hair since he was a kid but decided to go into the dance business and become a ballroom dance teacher. He was a pro ballroom teacher for 13 years & won multiple competitions. As he got older he decided to try a normal job but didn’t like it. So Shane decided to go to beauty school late in life to change and become what he always wanted and knew he should be doing! Shane joined the Belleza family in 2022, after attending Tennessee School of Beauty.
